I mean, it's fine? it's fine! definitely not the thing I've found most helpful or explorative by this author, but still very well researched and written as usual! I especially appreciated the discussions around "alternative" (ie non Western) modalities, though there could have been more explicit tips and information around cultural appropriation/modality theft than there was (and there was definitely some). I think because I experience C/PTSD symptoms specifically and not something like a general anxiety disorder the discussions, tips, and exercises just didn't hit right for me overall.
honestly my main takeaway is that I'll stay going to therapy for now LOL /lh

I really enjoyed this very informative nonfiction book about anxiety. It includes information about types of anxiety, treatments, origins and techniques. It is also pretty humorous. Very well written and enjoyable to listen to on audiobook.
