Here I was fully immersed in my demon-loving world and anxiously anticipating the most epic enemies-to-lovers ending to this amazing series that has captured my heart … only to find out it’s MMM?! Initially I couldn’t wrap my head around it because how could my naughty angel and his impassioned demon possibly need another?! BUT freakin’ hell, THIS is exactly what Dagon and Dimitri needed!! A third sweet, tenderhearted partner that cools their tempers, aligns their alpha natures, and solidifies their bond! Swooning over here.

Lucky, Dimitri and Dagon’s story has been building over the course of the other three books, so I was excited to get here. Unfortunately this one suffers a bit because there’s a lot of plot to wrap up, so the actual mating and falling in love almost feels like more of an afterthought - once Lucky is in (which is pretty fast), he’s all in, and
Spoiler they mate before he even decides he’s in love with them
. I did really enjoy seeing the found family dynamic continue to grow - there’s a very fun birthday party and cal and Oscar (still my faves) get lots of screen time, which is fun!

This series absolutely should be read in order and are NOT standalones. Don’t make the mistake I made by reading Patience first. Start at the beginning!

I haven’t read a ton of MMM books but I enjoyed this one. It worked well within the series with all the build up knowledge of the characters as they showed up in the previous books. These books are def best read in order and all together for a full understanding of the overarching plot.

I am so sad this series ended but I’m happy that now I can read about Ferry! I am looking forward to read more from Lark

Beautiful triad relationship with lots of steam.

Dagon and Dimitri desperately wanted to be a couple but there was always an issue with their relationship. As much as they loved each other and had marked each other, there’s no longed for bond which they searched for answers, for centuries, with no luck. Neither were willing to compromise on what they wanted from the relationship when they both needed someone to protect and dote on, and they couldn’t be that for each other. Until Lucky. Then the missing puzzle piece fell into place, a buffer to their alpha like tendencies, a mate to both, a human to smooth their frayed edges and knit them all together.

Lucky’s life has been nothing but hardship and he doesn’t find trust for others easy to come by so when Dagon and Dimitri woo their mate it doesn’t come easily for them. Of course as fated mates the chemistry between them all is sizzling and it doesn’t take long for the heat to ignite but the Angel and the Demon work long and hard to make Lucky feel cherished and safe for the first time in his life.

There’s plenty of action and drama to balance the romance element in this very engaging and enjoyable read along with some angst. Lucky takes some convincing before he truly believes he’s not there to just to be a bridge between Dagon and Dimitri, but is an integral and equal member of the triad. Lucifer and his minions cause chaos as per usual but that doesn’t stop these three wonderful characters from getting their hard earned and well deserved HEA. I loved every moment of this final book in the series and even though it’s the series end, my heart was happy.

For those people that are giving a 1 star rating without even reading the book because you didn’t want it to be MMM - show some respect for the author. If it’s not your jam don’t be mean with bully like behaviour. You DON’T have to read it, don’t give it 1 star just to vent you’re disappointment.

Eeeeeh. I feel sad this was the ending of the series as it didn’t feel as powerful as the rest. I like poly reads but this one just didn’t work for me. No angst whatsoever very cute read.

Looking forward to possible couples introduced though! Hoping they’ll be more the style the other 3 books had.
