Love this book. I can relate to a bit of what Andy went through and sympathise with him.

He and the rest of the band were so nice when I met them last year, where I was so nervous I didn't know what to say to them. Thank you for your music, Black Veil Brides, and what it brings to my life.

After only recently getting into Black Veil Brides, I enjoyed learning more about Andy, how the band came to be and their journey over the years.
At times the writing style was a bit exhausting, being a bit repetitive and jumping ahead of the story (chronologically inconsistent) and then back, which was confusing sometimes. I also didn't care about certain topics that seemed like tangents and would sometimes reveal a relevance to the story only at the end of them, while some things were a little under-explained.
Still, I feel like I do understand Andy better now. And while I don't agree with or relate to much of it, I admire his determination and creative spirit. So, the book did what it was supposed to - tell me more about this man's life - and, despite the perceived flaws, was still entertaining.

I've loved Black Veil Brides for a long time and this book was a fascinating look into the inner workings of the person most responsible for some of my favorite music.

This is the best autobiography EVER. But I might be just a little biased

If you are just like me and love everything that Andy does you won't be disappointed. This was very interesting to read and was very relatable

BG REVIEW https://bloodyrosered.wordpress.com/2021/04/14/andy-biersack-they-dont-need-to-understand/

I loved the book and yet there was some things which disappointed me a little bit. I loved the inspiration Andy is, how he planned everything from his teen years, I admire him for the strength to admit his bad days, to talk freely about them and yet the way how he spoke in some of the chapters of the band it left a little bitter taste in me. I wanted to read more about the band interactions, about the reading process, about the thing which they make and music they create as a group of people, bounded by the music. In these chapters was a little bit too much "I, me" and so on for my taste. When you talk about a band for me you should use more "we", even reading about Black Veil Brides I felt more like I am reading about Andy the individual artist. I just wished to read about more about them as a group, as an whole. All other parts of the book I loved, I found them interesting, motivating and inspiring. *Now ready to be crucified*
