A fun trashy thriller that's a pretty quick and satisfying read. It was fun to be transported into the world of snowboarders!

*I received this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy (ARC) through NetGalley. I received this copy free in exchange for my honest review.*

The characters are all ex-professional snowboarders who are returning to the ski resort where 10 years previously one of their members went missing and had been declared dead. But someone else has arrived before them and they want to know the truth of what happened 10 years ago on the mountain.

Ok so this was recommended to me by a friend, who leans more towards cozies than thrillers...so I admit it was expecting it to be more cozy. But man, this was full of thrills and mystery. I had a hard time putting it down. It kept bouncing back between the past and the present and when it all comes together it’s a doozy!

Couldn’t even make it to 100 pages. Incredibly boring and honestly all the snowboarding lingo was annoying to me. I just didn’t care enough about the characters or the plot to finish.

Not the most inventive writing I’ve ever experienced, but damn I devoured this book in 2 days! I could not put it down. As soon as each chapter ends it’s extremely hard to not read the next one. Overall I really really enjoyed it. Solid story, good characters, and the feels are there. A really fun ride, and I also came away with an appreciation for snowboarding that I never considered before!

I thoroughly enjoyed this quick paced thriller. The dual time line, the competitive snowboarding plot, the isolated setting, the secrets…

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this one for a readalong I participated in, and I am so grateful, as it was a great book.

Milla used to be a snowboarder. She was in competitions and had sponsors and was part of a big group of snowboarders who toured the circuit competing. Sasha was her sometimes friend and sometimes enemy. Sasha disappeared 10 years ago, and that's when Milla stopped snowboarding.

Now Milla has been invited to a reunion in the snowy mountains to have a go at snowboarding once more and reminiscing about the past with her old friends. Only when she gets there she realises that she was invited there by someone other than who she thought and all is not as it seems.

Someone wants to know what happened to Sasha ten years ago and they won't stop tormenting the old friends until they get answers. Lights go out, food is taken away, injuries are sustained... will the mysterious organiser get their answers before someone loses their life?

I loved this. Full of tension and mystery. I guessed quite a lot of the twists and the also the big reveal at the end, but I found it such fun to read along and work it all out.

I learnt a lot about snowboarding and competing whilst reading this one, and also how cruel and competitive these things can make even the most innocent of people. Lots of bad judgement and playing up made this one like watching a car crash - I couldn't take my eyes off it.

Very much recommended to fans of suspenseful thrillers, locked room style mysteries and whodunnits!

Loved it! But…I guessed the person behind it within the first quarter of the book, ending was extremely predictable. However, I can’t fault Allie Reynolds for the pacing of this novel- it was absolutely amazing!!! I loved all the creepy things that were happening throughout too and adored the main romance :) a great novel and so I will recommend it to people, just thought the ending was a bit predictable.

Well this title is so appropriate, this book really has given me shivers and I haven’t been able to put this down.

I have devoured this in one sitting and loved the dual timeline of events. Even with all the information there’s no way I could’ve predicted what was coming.

This has been the perfect read to curl up with and enjoy a lazy Saturday. I cannot believe this is a debut book!! I absolutely need more by this author and am definitely converted as a fan.

The characters in this one are all likeable in their own way and each have their own individual personality. They gel as a group and you do want to know more as you read.

The setting of this book is absolutely perfect and adds to the shivers you get on occasions while reading this one. The author has captivated my attention from very early on in this book.

I cannot say anything negative about this book, it is absolutely fantastic and has been a gripping and enthralling read.

I have loved every moment of devouring this superb read. Definitely a book worthy of all the stars.
