Yet again a good story in the Munch and Kruger series. I really like how we got to now Curry better. The crime they were trying to solve was complex and intriguing to read about. I couldn't guess the plot twist even though I tried very hard!

The author sat down and wrote this book and knew he was going to devour.

I am not a huge fan of mysteries. They're fun in between books, but I wouldn't pick them over something else probably. I chose this book purely at random and I could not regret it less. I didn't realize when I first read it that it was a second book in a sort of series. I have not read the first one yet it made perfect sense. I felt like I should read the first one because it would help me understand the background of the main characters but it isn't necessary. It was so entertaining that I was in shock. I actually liked the characters and was genuinely invested in the storyline. It made me want to buy another book from this author/translator. I thought that I had known what the plot was going to be and then it just takes you on unexpected turns. I felt that the story was flushed out and well-written. Definitely a great story.

Would I recommend this book?
Hell yes.

After reading book one in this trilogy I was all set to settle down and enjoy this next instalment but I have to say I was a little disappointed. This outing of Munch and Kruger wasn't as gripping as the first. I'll read the third book though and hope it is just as good as the first. This book wasn't bad, it just wasn't as attention grabbing as the first.
