I had such a good time with this audiobook. Gary Furlong is the most talented narrator I have ever heard and everything he does is a masterpiece. Hearing him speak in whichever accent he's doing at the time versus his regular voice really feels like 2 separate narrators and is the perfect contrast so you can always follow who is talking. He switches seemlessly between Scottish andAmerican accents, speaking in French, and speaking in Spanish, as well as putting on women's voices.

I don't usually like second chance romances because I find that whatever made them break up is usually something that I find unforgivable or something that is smoothed over too far easily from my liking so the second chance part NEVER Feels satisfying or deserved. But this is one of those cases where the second chance romance was handled perfectly and I was in on it from the moment the mcs met again. This one hinges on them having been to young to handle the nuances of their previous relationships and I find that incredibly compelling and understandable.

Carter and Auden are such a sweet and interesting couple. Auden is all about stability and heart while Carter is about growth and reaching for your dreams. I truly believe they are in love and will spend the rest of their lives together.

This was the best second-chance romance that i've read in ages! loved the realness of how the reasoning for the initial break up.

This was an amazing second chance story by a new to me author. There's just something about Carter and Auden that pulls you in right from the start, and all you want is to see them happy together. I absolutely feel in love with Aunt Bee as well; she was funny, loving and caring. This was another fabulous Vino & Veritas book.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left my honest review.

Ooh, this one was swoony. I love a good second-chance romance and this one delivered, with a helping of letterpress family business and some French phrases thrown in for fun. Oh, and a Scottish accent and a kilt. Can’t forget that part.

That was gentler and more fun than I was fearing (blame the more angsty [up to a point] [b:Right as Raine|56326586|Right as Raine (Aster Valley #1)|Lucy Lennox|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1610241080l/56326586._SY75_.jpg|87756933]). RTC to come, but I enjoyed self hugely and intrigued to dip toe more into this series and trying out new (to me) MM romance authors

I'm not entirely certain how the VINO & VERITAS series got on my radar (I did a cover reveal for the upcoming titles in the series: [b:Stronghold|56758968|Stronghold (Vino and Veritas, #14)|Ana Ashley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1620915759l/56758968._SY75_.jpg|88707815], [b:Limelight|56759002|Limelight (Vino and Veritas, #15)|E. However, I did want to write a small something about this title as, when I started this, I feared it was going to be more angsty than I like (am only just beginning to branch out in my MM romance reading). It wasn't, thank goodness, but it could have been so easily in someone else's hands.

Quick rundown: Carter has spent the last ten years working at a big chain office store, leaving his father's small letterpress business behind. But when his father calls out of the blue, begging Carter to come home as his mom has run off to Paris and threatened to end the marriage, Carter manages to get time off and go home, planning to make small changes to help his father's business and his parents's marriage.

But he isn't braced for Auden who still works with his dad. And who happens to be Carter's ex. Auden is Scottish, wears a kilt from time to time, still cautious as heck (hence why when Carter left, Auden stayed) and soon, the two are finding themselves in a second chance romance. But will there be a happily ever after for them both?

Review partially taken from The Pewter Wolf Reads

After reading Insatiable by Rhys Everly, I prefer Turnabout more. It's a lovely, grounded second chance romance and this feels like something I could read with a Hot Chocolate late one wintery evening. I was rooting for both characters to get together. Definitely going to check out this author's other titles.

It was indeed a cute story and the characters were lovely, but it didn't have the power that other books in this series have.
I enjoy so much Vino & Veritas, that I just everything that comes out.
I'm such a fan of Burlington and V & V wine bar and bookstore...

This book wrecked me emotionally (it's possible I have abandonment issues and a complicated relationship with my father. just saying). My complaints exist only in characters behaving stupidly, but in character..so not much of a complaint, and the abrupt ending.
