Animal gets his!

How do you find the perfect woman for Animal? You don’t. She found him. I was so worried that his leading lady wouldn't get her HEA. I wasn't sure Animal would see the light. Anastasia gave him the most devastating awakening and it was perfect. Nearly brought me to tears thinking about it again.

I love that Havoc gets the only woman who could handle him. I love that Nix and Becca are a huge part of her life too. I can't wait for Ember's story.

Havoc is a beast

I loved the family ties and closeness the characters had, the loyalty was unmatched and the love was amazing. We get more of Nix and Becca which was great but I loved Animal and his T. This book was suspenseful and kept me interested all the way through.

“Love was pain where I was from. And I was in so much love I wanted to die.”

I fell in love with Debra Anastasia when I read Mercy. After reading that, I was hooked on her writing; it was the best read of my 2022. I was excited knowing it was a series and Havoc focused on Animal.

During Mercy, Animal left such a trail in my mind that I wanted to get to know him. I definitely did get to know him in Havoc.
What I love with Debra's writing is how she tells her character stories. Their life, past, and trauma and how she describes their emotions and actions and how they all grow throughout the years. She never made them perfect, but she gave them a hell of a growth that gave people hope.

I think I am biased on how much I love Nix and Becca and that my love for Animal and T is second. hehe
We see a parallel between two different people, Animal and T, in their childhood, family relationship, and love and trust.
The timeline of the book, of course, sets somewhere in the middle of Mercy and continues from them. The involvement of Nix and Becca does not take away the focus of Animal and T, but it sets up our understanding of how their families work.

I love reading about Animal's childhood seeing an unfiltered story of what he goes through, his feelings and his relationship with Merck is heartwarming. The push and pull of T and Animal's relationship, I love that it wasn't an instant love kind of situation; if you read it, you understand. It wasn't a straight-line plotline; we hit a few bumps.

Amazing

I don't know how Deb does it every time... creating something that makes you laugh, cry, and fall in love, but she does. If you don't want to be T or be with Animal I don't think you are human

Havoc picks up where Mercy left off, but flashes back to Animal's (AKA Havoc) youth and his relationship with the one girl he felt closest too, though never really had. Animal and his brother (not by blood, but by bond,) Nix (AKA Mercy,) are like modern day Robinhoods. Reeking havoc on the evils of the world, while protecting those closest to them. While Nix is a computer genius and has a softer, more vulnerable side, Animal is his opposite. He is hard and has the intimidation act down, he also is very generous and selfless when it comes to the people he loves. The two of them compliment each other and they have a bond everyone else only wishes they could have with another person. But, this book is about Animal and the girl from his childhood. She comes back into his life in an unexpected way. She's had a rough life, just like Animal and Nix, and has improved herself to the extent that she can be considered equals to the guys. She is bada$$ and can stand up for herself, probably even more so than with having the boys defend her. This book is about Animal and reuniting with this girl and how their feelings are explored. Although written from alternating POV's, it is Animal who is the headliner, but it's also about the girl and her strength and what she is willing to do for him and his family. There is so much heart to this story. I love how we get to see the heart of these big tough guys. See their love, not only for each other but for the rest of their family.

There is some violence and there is some evil. And yes, there is sex. Although, technically you can read this as a standalone, I would highly suggest you read Mercy before reading this one, as you get more of the background to this book, and also get a better feel for the characters and their relationships. Due to the violence and sexual content, I would recommend this for mature readers.

Havoc is a book that will take you on an emotional, angsty, and action pack ride. Animal is no ordinary man. This book gives us everything we want to know about Animal including his girl T. Get ready to fall hard for Animal, T & the gang. This was an epic read!

I can not believe this! I was looking forward to hear story of Havoc. Somehow around second hour of the audiobook, I give up.

The time frame back and forth is very confusing. I have to listen carefully and guess the time frame is now or past. I do not have the patient to continue.

I was hooked within a few minutes of reading. I ❤️ books like this. The storyline is dark but not so much so that it’s off putting. The characters are unforgettable, beautifully flawed and unequivocally bad ass. I was so wrapped up in them that my tears were just evidence of how invested in their relationships I’d become. And of course, the 🔥🔥🔥 sex didn’t hurt either. Epic read. ✨Blurb in the comments✨
