Na naslovnici je navedeno da je napetije od Da Vincijevog koda, a sli?nost s istom je minimalna, pa ako se netko dvoumi upravo zbog toga sli?nosti, slobodno je uzmite jer se radnja lako prati i konstatno razvija
Ukratko: Arheolog pronalazi Noinu arku a njegov hm 'pomo?nik' Ulrich odlu?uje uzeti stvar u svoje ruke i kreirati Novi svijet po svojoj mjeri pomo?u smrtonosnog virusa.

Highly recommended for people who like James Rollins, Indiana Jones, and things that are exciting and good.

I wanted to put this book down half way through. I kept thinking maybe something would actually surprise me, so I kept reading. For a book supposed to be full of action and twists, I sure wasn't ever left guessing. The writing was juvenile, I didn't connect with any of the characters, and I should have trusted my judgement and stopped reading it. It was a waste of time - don't bother.

This book is a wild and original take on the Bible's Noah's Ark story - at times too wild for me, but it still made for an interesting story. At times my interest waned, but it was always recaptured. I'll give The Ark 3 1/2 stars.

Good adventure story reminiscent of Clive Cussler

When an archaeologist claiming her father discovered Noah's Ark approaches Tyler Locke for help, he can't be sure she's telling the truth. One thing he does know, though, is that the woman is in terrible danger and he's entered the crosshairs now as well.

An action/adventure read in the vein of James Rollins and Steve Berry. Great fun!

This is a thriller in the mode of James Rollins, Clive Cussler et al, involving a complicated plot, some nifty science, a little history, an evil group with a plan to take over the earth and a strong, damaged hero who solves the riddle and saves the world with the help of a beautiful exotic intelligent woman. Much of the book is derivative but the writing was quite good and it was a fun beach read. I don't think book groups are going to spend hours discussing the hidden meaning but I enjoyed the read. I'm giving it 4 stars based on its quality within its genre but don't think I'm comparing it to some of the truly great 4 star works of literature I've rated in the past.

I liked it. It was predictable, but still interesting. I also like Dan Brown so there you have it.

The Ark by Boyd Morrison is a fast-paced action packed thriller that will get readers racing through the pages to find out what happens next. Dilara Kenner answers the call of her father's friend Sam but he is assassinated with poison right in front of her, with only enough time to say a few words, including the name Tyler Locke. On her way to find Tyler and why Sam was murdered, she faces two attempts on her life, making Sam's wild claim that her father had discovered Noah's Ark plausible. Dilara and Tyler team up to figure out who is trying to kill them both and what that has to do with a threat that may kill billions of people in just a few days. Morrison knows how to keep readers engaged; it's more than 100 pages into the story before any real plot is explained, the characters are so busy running for their lives, they have little time to figure anything out. Once they do, the tension really ratchets up as they are on a quest to save the world with a very short deadline and facing a megalomaniac billionaire who will do anything to cleanse the world of the diseased flesh of humanity. Readers looking for Christian fiction will be disappointed. There is some mild profanity, a touch of sex, and no serious talk about faith. Readers expecting a rip-roaring ride will be thrilled. Morrison creates an interesting twist on the Noah's Ark story everyone is familiar with, without being overtly blasphemous (although he will catch some flack from the Christian market, I'm sure). I loved it and hope that Morrison has more plans for Dilara and Tyler.

This was interesting. I don't think I would have read this if I hadn't gotten the ARC (haha I had and ARC of Ark /lame humor), but I'm glad I did. It was pretty good.
