Thanks so much to the author for a copy to read and offer my opinion. So this book felt like a train wreck ready to happen. Fate brings Faye and Kyler together but it looks like family will tear them apart.

What did I like? This author is known for holding her cards close until the cliffhanger or the sequel. Faye comes to the United States because her parents were killed and since she’s not 18, she gets to live with her uncle. Only family life here is straight jacket worthy. Very little for Faye to do besides just hold on for the ride but her feelings for Kyler are complicated.

Would I buy this or recommend? There is a ton of angst not to mention a ton of things going on but for the first book that’s the usual. Can’t wait for part two. This book was enjoyable and I’d definitely continue the series!

Thanks so much for a copy, four stars!

Having lost everything and forced to start anew in Boston, Faye Donovan is swept away to live with her uncle, James Kennedy and his family, including his wife, Alex, the prestigious Kennedy Apparel mogul, and their seven sons. Before the deaths of her parents, she was unaware of the Kennedys and they were likewise unaware of her.

Finding Kyler follows Faye as she begins to find herself. We’re also along for the ride as a surreptitious relationship buds between her and Kyler, and a myriad family secrets unravel. Speaking of family secrets: ummm… I did not see that cliffy coming. Should I have? Perhaps. However, I totally. Did. Not.

I got an advanced copy of this book to read for a unbiased review. Not really spoilers but people definitely have different ideas of spoilers so I marked it as such!

First of all, I LOVE this Author! Siobhan Davis is a great Sci-Fi writer and I was overjoyed to find out that she writes great other genres too. A little bit of a touchy romance subject, but I enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down until I finished it. I was really hoping for the story to turn out a bit differently, but I can't wait to see where the author goes with the next book. Definitely a HUGE cliffhanger at the end which I was wondering about the whole book but thoughts were confirmed at the end. If the authors track record for great book series stays the same, I know the next book will be as good as this one! Can't wait to read it!

OMG I knew that Ky’s dad (James)’s sister actually would be his ex. I don’t even know how I knew it but it was that kind of weird vibe? And also how “the sister” supposedly chooses a partner which James hadn’t liked and therefore they lost contact felt kind of suspect.

But still I never believed that James would be HER (Faye’s) DAD!!!!

I really don’t know how to rate this... because I liked their relationship as cuisines. But I don’t know. Half-siblings?! It’s very taboo and not sure if it’s my cup of tea.

Otherwise a great book so 3,5/5

Finding Kyler is the first book in the Kennedy Boys series and the first I have read by Siobhan Davis. I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but I truly loved it! The writing is fantastic, the story is full of drama, humor and a little sexiness. Faye loses her family and is forced to move to America and live with her uncle, aunt and seven cousins. It's painfully clear that the Kennedy's have their own issues and drama before she gets there, but her presence stirs it up a little. New country, new family, new school. Fays has walked into the scene already in play. The players already chosen. The drama already started. Her attraction to her cousin seems to pale in comparison to what's happening around them. Who can she trust? Will her new family have her back? Siobhan writes this story about forbidden love perfectly. I was so immersed in the story, the last thing I was thinking about was Kyler and Faye being cousins. I enjoyed all of the drama and I loved how Faye could take care of herself, but it was nice to see people caring about her. It does end on of the biggest cliffhangers I've ever read! Finding Kyler was a wild ride and I know there's even more to come!

"Don't flatter yourself. You're the first specimen of prime American A-hole I've seen. I wanted to memorize the form so I know what to avoid next time."

"Kiss me like your life depends on it."

This is the first book that I have read by this author, and it was thoroughly enjoyed.
The book is about a young girl named Faye, who has lost everything including her parents who died due to a drunk driver in Ireland. Faye has been whisked away and dropped into the all-American lifestyle of this suddenly unknown uncle she has, with numerous cousins.

Kyler, one of the cousins, who was downright moody, cruel and ignorant towards Faye. She can't help but be attracted to him and Kyler having the same feelings, despite the uncles warnings to stay away from Faye.

But all families have secrets that can destroy each other right? This book proved just that, with major key points in the book that left you feeling sorrow, anger, and shock.

Overall, the book was enticing and left me wanting to read more, see if Faye could really bring Kyler to reveal his secrets which made him have this dark aurora. The reason it didn't receive five stars, the plot twist felt a little cliche.

Finding Kyler is the first book in The Kennedy Boys series. This book is told from dual POV's from Faye Donovan and Kyler Kennedy.

Faye lost everything when her parents died. She left her home in Ireland to move in with her Uncle. Here she meets her seven cousins, including Kyler.

Her life is turned into a nightmare especially when she starts to have feelings for Kyler. Kyler tries to keep everyone at bay, and has sworn off girls. Yet Faye sees under his motives and still has feelings for him.

They hide their feelings from others around them, because cousins shouldn't be together. Yet secrets have a way of coming out.
