Definitely one of those books everyone should read. I of course knew who Malala was before picking up the book, but i’ve learned so much by just listening to everything she wrote down in this book. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Beautifully written with exquisite storytelling. The prose and cadence perfectly captures what I believe is the crux of the book: Malala was juggling being a child and growing up in a war zone with a desire to change her world and her circumstances.

The book gives a lot of insight into the history and background of her land and family. It feels like Malala herself is a background figure for the first bit of the book but when she becomes the focus it's fascinating and a great read (listen).
