I truly didn't think anything could make me love this author more. I was wrong. This book. ...sweet holy titfire. I have loved this entire series. Yet, none of the books came close to what this book did to my emotions. I laughed, I swooned, and I got teary-eyed.

This author weaves words with such a clarity and ease that it blows my mind and has me gobsmacked. I easily could have highlighted the entire book as they way she describes things and the way she manipulates words is done effortlessly. Except, that's just it, I am sure it's not effortless yet, the fact that she can make me feel like it is truly a gift.

Gage. Sweet holy Mary, Joseph, Gabriel, and baby Jesus. If this man lives in Hell with the Devil then sign me up with a one-way ticket because I will sell my soul for a man as beautifully flawed as he was. When he talked dirty I was a puddle but when he opened up and said things from the heart I was dead. He made me want to speak in tongues and I am not even Catholic anymore. His story is tragic, dark, and gritty. Yet, with the help of his angel, he was able to heal.

Lauren. Sweet lawd. There are no words how much I loved this broken yet a fierce firecracker of a woman. When she went to battle she went to battle. If she was a book she would have been the reason to not judge it by its cover because although she might have been little her fierce loyalty and love would never allow her to falter.

Together, these two were simply beyond any scope of what I imagine love to be because I have never known love like theirs. Add in an out of this world grandmother (that I want as my own) and reappearances of older characters (Amy is still a hoot) and this book took it to a whole new love.

This entire series could be likened to being taken to church. This author's words were the sermon, the body of Christ, and the wine. She had me waving my hands in the air and praying for redemption. I cannot stress enough that if you are looking for a must-read series of 2018, then read this one. Bravo to this author. BRAVO.

I really loved both main characters in this book. Gage is probably my favourite next to Bull.

It's very dark in regards to Gage's past and how he deals with it. Skipped the sex scences, as they are not my thing. But in this story, the emotions play the most important part anyway.

Lauren is my new hero! Seriously, she's the best!

Can't wait for Ranger's story as well as what's going on between Jagger and the
Doc.

Very much struggled with this one. I usually love the way she writes, but this book not so much. There is way too much telling, and not enough showing and too much prose in this. The H and h spend forever - both aloud talking to each other - and in their heads - going on and on about their dark past and how broken they are. Really, the truly broken don't need to shout it every 5 seconds. They just are and it comes across in their actions and how they think, and not in thinking, “I’m so broken”.

On top of that huge chunks are just MISSING. They go to a club party and then the next scene is them back home. WHAT WHAT?? We don't see them there, intermixing with the club as a couple? Why even make a big deal out of her getting ready to go and going there then? It's a non-event! Then we keep having pages of scenes in italics because it happened in the past. But not the past, past, like the past between the last scene and this one. WHAT??? Just show us it happening as it happens. Don't make us read pages of italics for something that happened between one page and the next. It's super annoying.

I'm skipping pages and pages of this book, which is just sad b/c normally I love her writing and the story and how she writes them, but this book is just a struggle.

Wow! The Sons of Templar never disappoints and this one is no different. They always bring me on a roller coaster of emotions, but this one was especially emotional. Two broken people, two broken souls that battle their demons every day. We can all relate right? Both suffered unimaginable loss, a loss that changed them forever. Gage just became wilder, crazier, and cold. Swore he'd never be like his brothers and fall for a woman. But he does, and falls hard. Lauren, who suffered the loss of someone close to her, it changed her. He has a way about him, crude like the rest of the guys, but just a bit more, but the way his words come across you can't help but really feel what he is saying. He isn't all flowers and candy, and sweet nothings. No, they are dirty and downright sexy. Lauren is regimented, predictable the epitome of a good girl. Doesn't put anything in her body that can alter her in any way, shape, or form. She spouts statistics, leads a boring life in her eyes and others eyes. That all changes when she meets Gage. He changes her, and she changes him. She falls for all of him, the good, the bad, the homicidal.

I knew there would be some drama, when isn't there in this series, it's one of the things we love and expect, but what I got was so unexpected, it threw me for a loop. Was sitting in the break room at work sobbing. Just when you think you recover from one thing? Bam! Something else hits you, then again. I think my heart stopped a couple of times, I know I literally held my breath and gasping in shock. Haven't reacted like this since Bull and Mia, Bex and Lucky and of course Sam and Gina. This was my first MC series and any others I have read this is what I compare them to and will continue to do. Can't wait to see what Anne has in store for us next!

I am so in love with this book!

I wish I had more than five stars to give. This was absolutely the best book in the series. The best book by an author that already gives us a great read. I am so in love with both Gage and Lauren and their demons.

hands down my favorite of this series. it was a beautiful, raw and emotional ride. I could not put it down.

I haven't felt like two characters were truly meant for each other in a while. as cliche as it sounds, they complete one another and their love is epic.
"we are all searching for someone whose demons play well with ours."
