Come on. How can you go wrong? A book about Chicago, architecture, a fair, and a mass murderer.

I know all of Erik Larson's books get really good reviews but I cannot get in to them.

I wanted to read this book because my dad loved it when I was growing up and it sounded compelling.  While this book is about true crime, it is also very biographical which is not typically my genre.  I struggled getting through it but I did overall enjoy it and everything I learned along the way.

The construction of the fair was hard to get through, but the story of HH Holmes always kept me on the edge of my seat.

Book 7 in RYOB challenge. I might actually get to my goal of 20 books before the end of the year.

I gave up on this book 1/2 way though. It's interesting, just too dry for me. I'm not good with nonfiction. I'll finish this on audio book.
