It was good but it was also annoying with the arrogance of Nash. Maybe i would have found it hot 5 years ago? Now it just felt childish. Nora was great but the trauma she was supposed to have did not really make sense. It also seemed like a fan fiction but pretty well written. So overall i would give a perfect score to the chemistry minus Nash’s prickly attitude.

“i want to spend all of my fucking life kissing in the rain with you” <3

when i say this is my most favourite book of this year… i mean it with everything.

i literally cannot express how much i love this book, the emotions it made me feel throughout the whole thing was so up and down.

first of all, protect nash at all costs.
this man… oh my!
seeing the wall he had put up to keep everyone out slowly come down was so heartbreakingly beautiful.
every single word that came out of his mouth had me melting and i was rooting for him the whole way through the book.

my feelings for nora were very up and down, i loved her and her personality but it was hard as what she was doing was literally heartbreaking.

there was so many scenes in this book where i had to put it down because it was that good and had me that hooked that i needed to breathe & that is one of my favourite things to happen when reading a book.

i love them both so much and i miss them like crazy already

This was a pretty solid book. Kat Singleton is definitely working her way onto my fave author list. The writing is good, the story raises you up, then crashes you down in a big way....

Wow, this one. Nora and Nash almost broke me. They meet unconventionally and it's SORT of an insta-love, but not quite. He's a famous pop star, still drowning in his last heart break, and it has affected his writing. So his team of management decided they need to step in.

Lots of drama, angst, really sad and sappy moments also. They had great banter from the beginning and I liked the character building a lot.

A solid 4 .

Hmmm...I think this is a case of good concept, not that great execution. I was interested in the beginning, but over time, there were some things I didn't feel like were handled very well. It becomes very clear at the beginning of the book that Nash has problems with alcohol and after he starts getting involved with Nora he gets better, but it was hard to say whether he was in love with her during this time OR in love with the way she made him feel (sober). I also noticed some weird plot things that just didn't make sense - why was family trauma briefly mentioned and then quickly forgotten? Why does Nash keep Monica as his manager after finding out she set this all up? Not to mention, there is a really questionable sex scene towards the end that felt almost like he drunkenly used her? I don't know, it didn't sit right with me. There were some parts that were written well, but not enough for me to want to read more. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nash is a worldwide icon and Nora is hoping to follow her passion and make it as a dancer. Nash has been missing the spark he needs to truly write and produce the songs that sell and make the charts. Nash and Nora's world's collide and that once in a lifetime epic love story unfolds.
