This was a lot even for me and I think I need to do some soul searching around how it made me feel

Uh. I obviously didn’t do my due diligence before I picked this up.

In short, this is all about Noah, human rebel and sworn enemy of vampires, who gets captured by said enemy, turned into what he hates, and is in for many many many hard fought lessons as he’s now basically under complete control by his new master.

So if you like graphic explicit noncon sex with brutal coercion and torture, then come on over! I was enticed by a free look into this series that has garnered rave reviews, but I’m just too squeamish to continue. Everyone else, please go forth and enjoy!

I have no idea how to rate these books, so I'm choosing not to. I've read up to Season 3, Book 3 and will continue reading.

This was available for free on Amazon.

I knew what I was getting into when I started this book considering where I kept seeing this book recommended. But. Y’all. The writing is really terrible.

It would make complete sense if the MC was a teen but he’s supposed to be some badass adult leading a revolution with humans against the vampires, werewolves, and dragons?

Yeahhhh it’s not believable at all.

Trigger warnings for rape and misogyny.

Whoa!

A great start to what promises to be a dark and dirty trilogy. I was drawn in immediately, though a little bit of back story about Noel himself would help me relate to him more. Still, his attitude about vampires is about to change in a way that is going to be seriously painful for him, mentally and physically, and I can't wait to read the next installment to see it happen!

Very erotic, sexy, dangerous. Not for the fainthearted, this isn't a love story. The supernaturals are dark, dangerous, cruel, yet fascinating. The more you read these the more drawn into this world you are. Read these when your children aren't around, you might not want them to get their hands of them at all, very explicit sex acts in these. M/M erotic! Just a warning. Those of you who aren't interested in gay m/m worlds-you don't want to read these! Best to find something else to read that suits you.

I liked the idea of this world, with supernatural creatures being part of it and having taken over the world with humans either fighting against them or working with them.

That being said, I'm a big fan of formalities like proper grammar, spelling and tense use. I particularly dislike unneeded tense jumps and this novella has a lot of that. I know that different tenses need to be used to convey different times, but you still have to follow certain rules and this story doesn't do that. It has also a few noticeable spelling mistakes. All in all I won't be reading anymore stories in this series. But if you don't mind the tense jumps, go for it. The story idea itself is interesting enough!
