The beginning of the comic was kind of blur. Felt the story was all over the place with all the mayor and minor characters wasn't sure where the story was going. But luckily the last third was more focused on the main characters with amazing quick witted dialogue and amazing visuals.

This is turning into a slightly more violent/adult version of Percy Jackson, and I love it. Because Wonder Woman > Percy Jackson.

Disclaimer: I was provided a free copy of this book as part of the Goodreads Giveaway program.

I am only a novice graphic novel reader (at best) having only read a dozen titles or so in the past year. Having said that, I am very familiar with Wonder Woman's story from back in the 1970's and forward and I've also read the first volume of this series. I'm enjoying the new story for her and appreciate the "upgrading" of her character, bringing her into the 21st century. The artwork was very well done here and the plot is much better this time around than in the first volume.

I especially enjoyed the interaction with the gods of Mt Olympus and how they all interact with each other, even if it did get a little too "soap-opery" to my taste. It is an intriguing story line and I look forward to future volumes.

It's getting better. I actually liked the art in various parts this time and really enjoyed a couple of the fight scenes. They were more dynamic than before I think.
One thing that really bugged me was there was a part where Hermes gave Wonder Woman the power of flight....
Pretty sure New 52 Wonder Woman already showed that power in numerous books...
Awkward.
But I also have some issues with the dialogue, it just feels awkward and I find myself having to take a fine tooth comb-like magnifying glass and dissect what exactly is going on and what the words mean. I, personally, don't think it should require that much to understand a page or a panel.
Overall, I did like it and I hope that things continue to get better.
3.5!!!!!!

Definitely much darker than the first one! But that ending definitely sealed the deal. I did not see that coming and I must say I'm really really loving this series especially with all the mythology tied into it.

#7 More gods and demi gods enter the story. Ever wonder why there are no male children among the Amazon's. Wonder no more. Enjoyed this issue.
#8 & 9 Okay this has just taken a very bizarre twist. WTF!
# 10. Weird. Weird. Weird.

Bullet Review:

I found this better than volume 1, though maybe it was just because I now have a better grasp of previous WW works. That said, the art is weird (like how Aphrodite was seen at the waist) or awful (WW can't seem to be consistent between panels), and I can't BELIEVE we are still on this stupid "Ultimate Gods" showdown with that stupid Zola woman. I thought this was about WONDER WOMAN.

Wonder Woman herself isn't bad - at least she's confident and kicking ass instead of a questioning, simpering waif. But I am sooooo glad I didn't buy this.

bruh explain to me why diana wouldn't take off her bracers when she's fighting hades if that will make her powerful enough to beat a god?? it just doesn't make any sense. and honestly this volume was straight up terrible. kinda regretting my decision to reread the first four volumes.
