Employ goodwill and be grateful that your situation isn’t as bad as others, I guess?

**gifted by Dan Ariely**

I'm actually surprised at how much I enjoyed reading Payoff (but also not that surprised because I love Ariely's work).

It's an easy read, no more than about 100 pages. I think it'd be a great intro book for anyone interested in learning more about the psychology of motivation / behavioral econ.

I always enjoy Ariely's work and writing style. This quick read built off of his TED Talk on motivation and fleshed it out with some additional information and context. That said, I think the TED Talk would likely be sufficient to learn what is delivered in this book.

Breve, pero muy interesante. Va al grano, esta lleno de información muy útil. Lo recomiendo, para uno mismo, para gestionar grupos.

This is an excellent book. Fascinating information mostly from the business world but applicable to everyone's lives.

This is a scientific more than a self-help book that will give you some examples about how motivation works from a perspective of psychological experiments more than a spiritual/everyday approach. It's a great read if you want to learn more about the complexity of motivation, but doesn't really solve the problem of how to enhance it in you everyday life. Also a fun and short book for people working in HR. I love reading Ariely's books and finding out more about the amazing experiments he and his collages conduct.

The introduction and first chapter are very interesting, but it eventually runs out of steam. Brief enough that it doesn't repeat itself too much.
