SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Emelle has been summoned back to Cupidville and is in big trouble. But when she’s about to be terminated, she manages to fight the Head of Cupidity and he’s terminated instead, making her the new “boss lady”. She also has amassed other interesting powers from jumping in and out of the Veil.

But when she returns from Cupidville, she realizes that what was only a few hours for her was an entire month in the fae realm. The rebellion has intensified and the attacks from the prince are increasing. Her mates are a mess and there’s a lot of repairing to do within her covey.

So Emelle is ready to fight against the prince once and for all and secure her covey so she can finally have her own HEA.

REVIEW:

So I enjoyed the beginning of this one while Emelle was in Cupidville. This part was interesting and funny. I also loved seeing her cupid friend, Sev, some more. He’s hilarious. Would love a story for him. Raziel and Jerkahf were also really amusing.

But after that I found the book to be rather slow and I was not happy with yet another prolonged separation from Emelle’s mates. In this one she doesn’t officially reunite with three of them until 50%, and poor Okot is mind controlled for 90% of the book and separated from her that entire time, leaving very little bonding time with him.

This really long separation really brought the book down for me. I enjoyed the action and humor. But I wanted MORE romance and sexy times in this final book (other than the next novella). And we didn’t get that.

I did like how everything played out with taking down the prince and the king. But I also felt like the fact that Okot and most of the prince’s army was being mind controlled was REALLY obvious and someone should have come to that conclusion a lot sooner than they did.

Overall the book was just okay. It was a little slow and I didn’t like how long she was apart from the guys. When she was with them though, they were sweet and sexy together and I liked that.

This was such an awesome book! It was just as funny and ridiculous and romantic as the other two books, and I think it wrapped up the series really well. I loved Emelle - seriously, she's hilarious, and very caring, and a complete magical conglomeration. Also, she's a
Spoilercupid boss now, literally! It's as awesome as it sounds, and I really wish we had more of the angels and demons. That felt a little unexplored, which is kind of Emelle, but still. I would welcome a Lex/Belren spinoff, by the way!
This was a book that made me smile, laugh, and almost cry. It also has a gorgeous cover, and I am so happy I read it, because it just plain made me happy. 5 stars.

I thought this trilogy was really cute. However, I think it took away from the plot because it tried to be so happy and upbeat. When the book ended, I honestly thought there was another book because I felt like there were unanswered questions. There is a novella, and I read the first 10% and didn't find any of those questions answered, so I am not sure if I will continue with the novella. I do appreciate how light this series was, and it was a great palette cleanser.

This book was ridiculous. The h could have been a super bad ass and still silly but nope, the author chose to unravel the h, the story and the relationships for... what? Was this supposed to be a filler book where Emelle just runs around acting like Lucy (I Love Lucy) on crack? Because that's what it reminded me of... a farce. Plot threads dropping left and right. The entire book was unnecessary except to give me a reason to hate Emelle. Talk about wasted potential.

Another RH series hits the DNF pile.

CAN NO ONE WRITE A GOOD RH?????
