If you want to read a silly fiction about a race war between Trolls and Dwarfs and the policemen that try to keep the peace, then this is the book for you. It's not as silly as some Pratchett books, but it toes the line as you should expect.

This was a great City Watch book. Sam Vimes is amazing as per usual. Not a lot of Carrot in this book, which is too bad. This one is about prejudice and the darkness that lives inside us. It is a darker novel for Pratchett, less comedy and jokes. Still a fantastic book. Sam and young Sam are adorable.
