A well written trashy novel! :) Fun, quick read and just what I was looking for.

Light and enjoyable reading. Finished it in a few hours on a long train ride.

Wonderful read!! I never wanted to put it down! Christine Merrill did an amazing job with this book. I will definitely be on the lookout for more of her books.

The author has an easy to read writing style but other than that I just didn't like the book. It was impossible to tell even what period it was set in!
SpoilerThe book cover made me think Regency, some of the characters' behaviour was Georgian, but our hero had a search through his mother's desk & found stamps. So, Victorian?

Not recommended.

This book was okay. The story was not so bad except for the major incoherence in the characters and especially for the Duke. I think I was really disappointed by his attitude and his back story, it was a bit too simple. Yeah, what I found annoying was that everything seems to be falling into place while at the beginning you would tend to think it would be really hard to achieve that state in their marriage.

Not my usual thing but picked it up for free. OK - not great.

This was free from Amazon as a Kindle book, so I gave it a shot. A fun read, and if the heroine is at times a bit clueless, the author has at least given her a background to be so. I ended up rather liking Miranda.
