Annes Tagebuch ist wirklich schön geschrieben und es ist sehr interessant zu sehen wie sie mehr und mehr ihren eigenen Style findet.
Sie gibt uns Einsicht in das Leben der Bewohner im Hinterhaus. Es ist ein ganz intimer Einblick in ihr Leben und man lernt so viel mehr über die Zeit der 2. Weltkrieges. Man erhofft sich so sehr, daß sie es irgendwie schafft, auch wenn man weiß, dass sie leider sterben wird.

Good enjoyable read but not as capturing as the first four books. Kind of slow and I was expecting more action/dialogue between Gilbert and Anne but their relationship wasn’t the main focus so yeah… good but was hoping to explore Gilbert‘s and Anne‘s relationship more.

Interesting story, important topic but kind of disturbing

Lou is an amazing young woman an her character development is amazing. Will is a grumpy man full of love even though he is suffering. The relationship is absolutely adorable and their banter is super realistic. I loved how their relationship developed slowly and one could really just feel what Lou felt. 
The question about helping people die and disability is incredibly well dealt with. It is shown that the world is not always accessible for disabled people but there are ways and there is hope. And there is also the suffering of Will and how the accident changed his whole family. It is truely amazing and there is so much more depth to this book than just romance.

However, I only gave it 4 stars because it felt a bit long at times and the story was moving along very slowly in the middle.

J‘ai bien aimé l‘histoire mais je déteste la fin. 
Athur et Lauren sont super mignons ensemble and j‘ai bien aimé leur relation. Même si quelque fois j‘avais l‘impression que toute cette histoire était bien irréaliste, elle est intéressante.
