Beautifully written, I loved the characters, plot, and relationships. I connect to the main character’s way of thinking and feeling. Several times I had to pause after reading a sentence because it felt like I was Tamras. Tamras has reminded me that silence is okay. She has such real relationships with the women around her, it’s like I live in the book. Loved it :’)

Honestly I’m going through a hard time in life right now, and this book doesn’t really make it better. It’s beautifully written and emotional. It’s also quite dark and reflective at times and that’s not what I need. I am sure I will return to it one day, though!

I can’t remember anything that happened in this book. I read it about three months ago for a book club with the girls and all I remember is being scared at the end when you-know-what happens. So, maybe that’s a good thing? The one thing I do remember is thinking Bella was real asf and I can remember feeling like her when I was a teenager fr

I don’t like saying this, but this is one of the worst books I have ever read in my life. Truly horrendous. I’m so sorry to the author, I hope she never reads reviews like this. She did way too much and at the same time so little it was almost laughable.
Check trigger warnings (I’m gonna add “cult” as one here as well)

Take all those trigger warnings, and imagine a book that pretends like a super sexy man, who can barely communicate without getting extremely angry, solves all of the heroine’s trauma and past. With sex. Hmm. I just don’t buy it at all

Yeah what’s up everybody I’m back again with a new review. You might be surprised that I read this book, but I am not! I read it way back in the day and wanted to reread for the nostalgia

Good book not a toxic relationship which is rare for books written these days. The couple was super sweet. It moved way too fast. Also the main character called a lot of other girls “wh*res” and “sk*nks” lol.

Dark, dark topics are addressed in this book. See trigger warnings. Basically it’s written like the guy is the only person that she can calm down around but she needs serious psychological help from professionals.

I picked this book out and started reading it for my mom. I want to read about life over 60 and life in your sixties. I see her as someone with so much to do and start, and the book feels centered on women in their 80s and 90s (and making the most of “the time you have left.”) The first thing they talk about is advising older women to make conversation through small talk. It just made me sad, like. :/

This book feels geared towards women in assisted living and nursing homes. But for my mom, it’s not helping me understand her experience (except to pay attention to and ask her about how others treat her as she’s getting into her Broad years💗)

Wow VERY interesting.  During the first part of the book, every section is just part of an everyday interaction, but the perspective of the main character changes everything. Very good!! I didn’t even know I was reading, I was just in it.

The one guy in this book is VERY off-putting though, I have a lot to think about

Coming back to share my thoughts a few days later: The male character just did not add anything at all to the book for me. It took things away. As soon as we learned about his behavior and tendencies I just felt nervous while reading the rest of the book. He made me feel unsettled and scared for the main character and it took away from her.

I felt like the commentary was too much and too in your face, which ended up taking away from the point the author was trying to make

this book is exactly like the other 5, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is the book for you! personally i’m a little tired of
ethan deciding that he needs to protect merit by pulling away from her, being cold but professing his love, etc. i’m definitely over the slow burn. I mean come ON, 6 slow burn books! the burn has been extinguished there is no burn anymore

anyways, I still love these books! like i’ve said before, they are nostalgic for me. also, they’re a good like silly crime novel that always gets resolved at the end and everything is always fine. I think that’s also why they’ve lost their pizazz for me, because the plots of these books are literally ALL the same. like can we have some internal house dynamics for a book? instead of some crisis that merit apparently is the only one who can handle… also I just don’t believe she’s that much of a badass sorry. the author hasn’t convinced me :/ but REGARDLESS, same quality of book as the first 5, I still enjoy reading them despite my obviously lengthy criticism lol
