eh. i was pretty bored and found the main characters kind of annoying and the writing on the cheesy side. Not a big fan of this one. The plot was alright

I’m kinda embarrassed that i read this but why did it also kinda hit hahah. writing was very mid. still had a somewhat engaging plot and some interesting relationship dynamics which kept me in it. this was the smuttiest book i ever read though

a bit more engaging than book 1,  but it was such a missed opp. The spice was great, WESTON IS FILTHY LOL.  there were some cute and funny moments but the plot was WEAK and the characters had such untapped potential. The were complex and wild and i felt like the author could have capitalized on that to make really engaging stories but they never came after the initial chapter. I found myself more disappointed than satisfied at the end by how dull the book was :/

Elsie does good at creating a cute  couple, sweet romance, and good spice but the plot is weak. So many things did not make sense to me and it was slowww getting into. I was pretty bored

Struggling between 3.75 -4 stars but landing on 4. this book was BEAUTIFUL. The characters healing and growth together was so healthy, human, and layered. Rafael love gestures were swoonyyy and both FMC/MMC were so loveable. I also have such a special place for single parent romances πŸ₯². This one had me hooooked and I loved the pace of their relationship and how cautious they were with each other- it made their story stand out from the typical structure of contemp romances in a sweet way. MY ONLY CRITICISMS- some of the inner and outer dialogues felt repetitive, cliche, and cheesy at times. Not all the time, but enough to doc a few points for me

It was a ride for sure. It all started coming together/making sense towards the end. I think i liked acotar book 1 better as a whole, but I can see how the series is reeaaallyyyy going to pick up from here. but it was SUPER quality and i love Celaena as an FMC. she’s so badass. and ofc SJM came through with the beautiful writing and meaningful reflections on life πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

it was cute! Theo was such a pleasant surprise after seeing glimpses of him in the other books.
