The man bend her over, spread her open, tell her grab the headboard and ate her til she was cross eyed šŸ˜. This was really good. Iā€™m use to the plot twists and interesting story lines that happen is Meghan Marchā€™s books but it will hit every single time. This story was so full of twists and turns. It was so good.

One thing Sierra Simone is going to do is write a story that makes me put on my thinking cap. Is it downright dirty and explicit? Yes. But itā€™s also reallyā€¦ā€¦eye opening. This is a sequel to Tyler and Poppyā€™s story as they navigate married life. But at this same time itā€™s extremely interesting and in my opinion a think piece. Tyler is struggling with guilt and a shaky faith after coming from a life where he was undoubtedly steadfast in his convictions and beliefs. Thatā€™s a turn that will shake just about anyone. On top of that heā€™s dealing with jealousy and envy when it comes to his wife which is justifiable. But the part the got me was the last few chapters of this book after they made up. As someone who has experienced the same thing it feels equal parts awful and good to have someone articulate the feelings so powerfully. The hopelessness and anger that comes along with being faced with that situation. The self hate and anger you feel when you realize as a human and a woman you have one job youā€™re made tho do and fail at it. The anger at God for allowing it to happen and for believing that itā€™s his will or a form of punishment for some sin that you committed. Itā€™s was all soā€¦.real for me. It also made me realize that as believers we hold to some sins tighter than others. To the point where whenever things donā€™t go the way we want them to or we end up hurting our first thoughts are ā€œwhat if this is my punishment or karma for doing this particular thingā€ without realizing that by asking for forgiveness that sin is no longer a factor in anything moving forward. Overall despite my small moment of despair towards the end I really enjoyed the book. The epilogue was so bittersweet. It was basically an homage to Tyler and Poppy in their prime years lol. Dirty scenes and all.

This was a cute and heat filled novella. I finished it in almost one sitting. Canā€™t wait to read more. Also there was a missing chapter

I received this book as an arc from the author and my thoughts are my own!
I am in love!! Well after reading this I really really want to be. This was amazing. From start to finish. I have really really bad bang-xiety (fear that the characters wonā€™t get jiggy) but these two surely did. From chapter one with the flashbacks! I loved both characters and how they just fit together so nicely. I couldnā€™t stand her parents and Iā€™m happy she stood 10 toes on cutting they hip off! Tori deserved the love that Rhett gave. Sheā€™s such a bright and pure soul.
Now Mr. Rhett (I will French kiss that šŸ±) Micheals!! This man is so dreamy!! From the dirty mouth to the way he was so good to her. There was a moment when he was being a bit dickish but he was hurt (so his actions made sense to me!!) but he rectified that pronto. Heā€™s such a good person when it comes to his friendships and family! I couldnā€™t wait for her to start loving him so he could feel it! Ughhhhhh
The baby goat!! Sweet little moo-moo I wished she made more appearances but it was so sweet and heart felt. If youā€™re looking for a book with delicious spice, heartfelt relationships and an easy going pace that donā€™t make you feel like the story is dragging on forever then definitely read this! I canā€™t wait to read more books in this series.

This is this authors first work so itā€™s not surprising that the story is not as good as Iā€™d hoped. There was no sequence of events that made sense in my opinion. It was like starting a series at book 2 so all the vital information like the whoā€™s who and whatā€™s what is in book one. There was no backstory or anything. Just action. And even then it wasnā€™t adding up.

I understand the whole trauma and obsessive behavior thing but it was just weird lol. Even the intimate moments between the characters were weird at best. It was like a series of events were just thrown together and dragged out with very little forethought. Then thereā€™s the grammatical errors!!!! The idea behind the book is nice but the execution lacks.

I received this as an arc from the author and my thoughts/ opinions are my own!
This book was a cute story. Itā€™s a friends to lovers romance but the story line was definitely different from what Iā€™ve read before. I really enjoyed it. The only thing that got to me was how redundant the first 30-45% of the book was. I understand that Blair had a big stuff up with Ford and it put a wrench in their relationship/ friendship but it felt like it was the only thing they talked about. Butā€¦.when they finally got through it their story was entertaining.
The one thing that shocked me was the erotica. I pictured Ford as a nerdy, shy geeky type. So when he started telling Blair how good she tasted I was aghast! This is the perfect example of the shy guys are freaks cause he was really getting it in there lol.
All characters had some kind of development/ growth and I appreciated that. Iā€™m not gonna lie itā€™s a slow burn and progress type book so I didnā€™t think they wouldā€™ve had much changes but I was pleasantly surprised by that. Overall I rated it 3.5 stars and I think itā€™s a cute palette cleanser between heavier books. And if Iā€™m being honest I definitely think Ronnie and Miles have something going on and would love to read about it if it ever becomes a book. I just hope their story is more to the point and less beating around the bush.
