Waited for this book for ages and I’m so glad to finally listen to it. Nostalgic with the combo of new info since first reading.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.
Just couldn’t get into it. The world building was too overwhelming and I didn’t really care to know the characters.

I couldn’t put it down/turn it off. I just wanted to know what would happen next. As an older sister, I got a bit annoyed at the whole trope with Eden and her relationship with Dani but that’s just on me. Loved the banter between Nox and Dani. Good example of the reluctant hero trope.

What a stunner! I couldn’t pause this book for a second, devoured it in 1 day. What a beautiful story and such an atmospheric setting. Felt like the ending sad bit was rushed. Last chapter could have had much more time because that loss was so sudden it felt like a whiplash.

Pretty average YA novel. Liked the twist on the Sleeping Beauty story but I wish the main story arc was focused on Shane instead of Fi. Good plot twist at the end.

Quite a sweet YA sapphic novel. I had it in my head that there were vampires in this book so I was waiting for that. My mistake.

I loved the combination of spirituality and queerness that Jo represented. Her relationship with BTB was so sweet and genuine.

Wasn’t sure about the ultimatum that Jo’s dad gave her in the beginning and the Dana character was really frustrating.

Incredibly average story. Last 30 mins were tedious. Like the vibes that Ava has but Kaye is super frustrating.

Oh. My. Word. What a book! It took me a while to really sink my teeth into but once I did, boy was I impressed. I adore the unhinged chaos that is Mei and the world building was sensational. Beautiful storyline and the metaphor of tea throughout the book was a lovely touch. Gave me all the feels without tearing up.

It’s an average story. I was invested in the outcome of the main characters but the inter relational stakes weren’t very high/could be excluded. Loved Lisey, she kind of reminded me of Princess Bubblegum in her cadence.

It’s a nice enough book if you’re into sapphic vampire fiction but the main character is incredibly bland. The world in which the story takes place was quite interesting but it was really weird that the main character was American whereas the rest of the characters were English. It was just…fine but the relationships were really unsatisfying.
