This is the book I wish I had as a teenager!!

I absolutely adored reading this. It was funny, emotional, thought provoking, everything you want from a good book & from a YA too?! Incredible.

As a fellow autistic, there were many MANY parts I related to & so many funny references that made perfect sense to me. There were also moments that really hit me in my feels, things I could never put into words that Jackie has so amazingly done.

The main thing I loved about this was how you do not have to be autistic to read this, at all. Jackie has helped the reader understand what it's like to be autistic, she has put the reader in Jessie's shoes in the best way. I, of course, couldn't relate to Jessie's identity issues as a Palestinian in Canada but again, I could feel where the author drew from for this & it genuinely was an honour to read.

Whilst I am well aware not every autistic person is the same, the issues Jessie faces on a daily basis, for me, is very relevant to a female teenage autistic. I hope this book helps neuro-typical readers understand is a bit more โœจ๏ธ

StreamLine is about self-discovery, family, friendships, heartbreak, love, pure autistic joy & everything in between. The way Lauren addresses, frankly, some tough topics in this book is beautifully done. I don't want to give spoilers, but the LGBTQ+ storyline especially was incredible to read.

Even though I don't game, I have never had an interest in it personally but when I say I related to Lune soooo much throughout this book, her way in which she regulates from overstimulation, her meltdowns & internal struggles...I am pretty sure tears were shed at some points. Lauren has really shared how it feels to be autistic through Lune & I think it's a great way for people to understand.

Lunes & Nochts story is one of the realist love stories I have ever read. I admired Lune showing her pure autistic side, to Nocht facing their personal identity struggles. I have never read fiction with an autistic MC before & this definitely won't be my last.

You definitely do not have to be autistic to read this, I would recommend everyone to pick this up!

This has been one of the ones that's been on my shelves for a while, so I used it as a pick me up after TTT & it was just the ticket!

This first book in the series follows Ava Chen, a free spirit trapped by nightmares of a childhood she canโ€™t remember & her brothers grumpy best friend Alex Volkov, a devil blessed with the face of an angel and cursed with a past he canโ€™t escape... you can see where this is going, right?

"He has a heart of ice... but for her, he'd burn the world."

Please bear in mind, I always used to say, "Oh, I don't really read romance" & this is just your typical smutty romance... I loved every second ๐Ÿ˜‚

I 100% knew what was going to happen from the first chapter, but I still enjoyed all the character developments, the smut (ofc) & the all drama I was not expecting to be thrown in.

I already have the rest of the series & shamelessly can't wait to read them ๐Ÿคญ

Consider me in my romance era ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธโœจ๏ธ
