What a ride

This sweet story has many ups and downs and brings the reader on a journey. Leo.and Rove.are fun, funny, and fabulous. They learn what they need in life is.not where they are and pursue their HEA. You will want to read this story!!!

In this book, Casey has created the sweetest most swoon worthy couple I have ever had the privilege of reading.

I found everything in this book just worked. From the characters to the storyline. I just wanted to keep reading.

Thanks so much Casey for the review copy, I’ve loved every moment and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this book to any lover of MM romance.

I’ll probably come back to this one, but for now I’m not connecting. Stopping at 54%.

Thanks to his best friend's convincing, Rove sets off on a weekend away to an LGBT-friendly resort before his next movie launches him into stardom. However, he never thought he would find someone there that connects with him on a deep level. When the weekend is up, he hates to leave Leo.

Leo has had his own struggles, but he can't deny he's instantly attracted to Rove after their first awkward encounter. But all the late nights and fun times don't change the fact that they are on two different paths and two thousand miles apart.

Five years go by, and the two men haven't kept in touch, but there hasn't been a day when they haven't thought about each other. But when a reporter releases a video that could ruin Rove's career, the only person he finds himself wanting to talk to is Leo, if Leo still is an option.

I was excited to start this one when I received an ARC of it, but I found that early on, it really was not the book for me. Rove and Leo weren't bad characters, but I really didn't connect with them all that well, and I found the book as a whole to be too predictable.

Heart Unbroken has received many glowing reviews from ARC readers and those that have gotten their copies after its release. I truly believe that this was not a bad book at all, just that this was not the book for me.

There’s shirtless men on book covers, then there’s two men meeting while one is naked and tackled to the ground…isn’t that an unexpected meet-cute?

But seriously, a second chance romance between two guys in their 40s…meeting in paradise for a weekend, feeling a super connection but not considering meeting each other ever again. After all, they do live on opposite sides of the country with jobs that demand their whole time and attention. Five years later, in the middle of very unfortunate circumstances, they may have a chance to explore the connection they both felt all those years before.

I’ve been reading a lot of Casey Cox’s books since December, so I was delighted to read an eARC of this one and it did not disappoint. This book was super sweet and had one of the things I like the most about Casey’s stories: communicating and expressing one’s feelings. Really y’all, is there anything better than seeing people talking about how they feel and avoiding miscommunication? (I hate miscommunication) I say it’s beautiful.

I love how Rove and Leo were there for each other during their difficult times. Both of there were going through life changing situations during their time together and each of them was there to support and hold each other together. Their story is beautiful, sweet and heartwarming, and I really recommend the read.

Another thing that I really enjoyed here was the friendships. Both Rove and Leo have best friends that are family to them and y’all know how I feel about found family. Also, Leo’s work on the resort  (and his dreams) creating a safe space for people to be themselves (but also Josiah, Rove’s best friend, with his centers for homeless LGBT youth). We all know that a lot of queer people are not safe to be themselves where they live, being that because of their families, communities, government or anything else, so seeing this brought up was good and sort of gives a little hope.

Rove and Leo are two beautifully damaged men who have both been handed a hard lot in life,

Heart Unbroken is the love story of Rove and Leo, two beautifully damaged men, who have both been handed a hard lot in life, two men both in their 40’s, looking for that missing something in their lives.  This is a story about second chances, about being a bit brave enough to take another chance at love.

Casey Cox is on top form with this story of two hearts beating towards each other, Casey Cox knows what his readers crave and delivers it to us in spades! A heartfelt and authentic story.

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 by Casey Cox is Rove and Leo's story.

Rove takes a much-needed vacation to a beautiful resort just before his big break in Hollywood where he meets Leo and they have one magical night together. Five years later, Rove and Leo's lives change dramatically, making them turn to each other for support.

OMG!! I love Rove and Leo. The journey they take may venture over a few years, a bumpy path, and have some heartache thrown in but the simpleness of their undenied connection with each other makes for an emotionally filled happily ever after.

I love how comfortable Rove and Leo feel around each other right from the beginning and even five years later when they reunite. I love both Tal and Josiah and hope they get their own stories in the future. I laughed out loud and even shed some tears while getting a blast from the past with all of the ninety's references.

Get ready for... mm, strangers to lovers, meet-cute, one-night stand, only one bed, second chance, mature mcs, found family, and dual first-person point of view.

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 has a heat level of 4 flames and gets 4.5 maple leafs!

So happy to have Leo's story after meeting him throughout the Escape series. There was always an air of sadness to him but now he has his chance at a HEA with Rove, though not without their own obstacles.
The two meet when Rove is there just for one weekend, there's an immediate spark of attraction and they connect on several levels, spending one night talking and one night...having fun. Their problem comes with living on opposite coasts and having such different careers, Leo running the Elysium resort and Rove a Hollywood actor. Five years later, a scandal that blows ridiculously out of proportion, and out of context, leaves Rove struggling and needing an escape. Neither has forgotten the other and they pick up right where they left off. I love how easy it is for them to do that. There's no pretense about who they are or what they can give, but they are the support that each needs. It's given time to grow and build whilst a storm is going on around them. My heart hurts for what Rove is put through. Social media and news outlets can be an evil place, jumping to conclusions, not fact checking before accusing. Leo has done well in his role considering the loss he suffered but he become a workaholic, only really noticing when taking a step back to spend time with Rove. It's great when being with a special someone gives you a clearer perspective on what's been going on as well as what is possible. These two men are crazy hot together but also are happy with the small moments, reading side by side and talking about everything and nothing.
Both men have wonderfully supportive best friends who I hope we hear more from, as well as where the story finishes. That sounds like it could be a great series to read.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review
