This book deffinately had funny moments and steamy moments.

The relationship between Massi and Lex went at an astonishing rate of knots, however the emotions and thoughts behind them both were brilliantly put across.

Lex, an former rock 'n' rolls daughter who was not given the best press as a child has grown up shunning the limelight but has created for herself an up and coming clothes label for the everyday woman.

Massi is a Prince of an Island of Italy and heads up a factory that produces fabric and wants to go into production with his own clothing line. He has put a stop to Lex's last fabric order and is on a months holiday.

The sex scenes however did seem rather exaggerated and a little laughable, and certainly not to everyones taste, but what is. Due to other review I had thought that there would be more sex involved and am glad there wasn't.

Still a decent read for those that are into the whole romance/erotic reading scene.

"Undressed" is the first book in "The Manhattanites" series by Avery Aster and tells the story of Alexandra "Lex" Easton, a fashion designer from Manhattan and owner of Easton Essentials, and Prince Massimo "Masi" Tittoni, an actual royal and owner of fabric factory Girasoli. Both have had less than ideal childhoods and have experienced the loss of at least one parent. Their respective companies are in business together, with Girasoli providing top fabrics to Easton Essentials; however, after a missed payment and with Girasoli planning to enter the world of fashion design, Lex makes a last ditch effort to get her fabrics by flying to Isola di Girasoli in hopes of persuading Prince Tittoni to change his mind. After a bumpy start, the mutual attraction between the two lead characters is undeniable and thus begins the back and forth, both personally and professionally.

This was a fun read and while the sexual banter between Lex and Masi tended to be quite crude, especially on Lex's part, the story stayed light and not overly dramatic. There were a couple of moments during the sex scenes that had me raising my eyebrows in disbelief, thinking to myself, "Seriously? Is that even humanly possible?!" But hey, just because someone hasn't personally experienced something doesn't mean no one else has so I'll give those moments the author the benefit of the doubt. Hehe.

The characters, both lead and supporting, were fairly well-developed, though I did feel that they could have evolved better throughout the story. There was also no actual resolution to Lex's dysfunctional relationship with her mother, Birdie.

On the downside, the "sound effects", the dogs going "woof, woof", and the constant "bella" calling may have been overdone. There were times I wanted to actually make both Lex and Masi stop talking, especially during the sex scenes, because the "pillow talk" was a bit much. There were also a few editing issues but nothing overly distracting.

Avery Aster shows potential as a writer as she's able to bring together an interesting story and likable characters that kept me reading from beginning 'til the end. "Undressed" gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded off to four stars for Goodreads' purposes. ^.^ Book two in the series, "Unscrupulous", is next up on my list.

OMG MASI! I am swooning! When you start a book out with a man who is sexy enough you name your vibrator after him… you know it is just the beginning to some HOT SEX!!!

In the first book of The Manhattanite series we meet Lex Easton. Lex has had a hard life because of her famous rock-n-roll family. But after her father passed away and left her and her mother bankrupt, she is left without any money and no social status. With her friends there to support her she starts her own design company. "… humble, hard working and honest - she called them her three H's." She has worked hard to get Easton Essentials off the ground and is starting to make a name for herself. While preparing for the upcoming fashion week she ends up traveling overseas to meet the man who will not deliver the fabrics she MUST have! Prince Massimo Tittoni is known as the Italian playboy. He is also the man that Lex's vibrator is named after because he is drop dead gorgeous! "…her dildo, titled "The Masi's Salami." But he also happens to own Girasoli Garment Company and they have her fabrics. She is determined to do whatever she has to do to get those fabrics back to New York and make her company an international success.

Undressed is sexy and takes you on a ride! I loved the story of Lex and Masi and how they fell in love. This book is VERY graphic and naughty, which I usually love but at times I felt the sex was just unrealistic. I mean come on we all want to be blessed with a HUGE man that can fill us up, but do we need more??? (trying not to spoil it for those who haven't read it) I loved the story line and how it was written but sometimes the sex scenes felt off and too over the top (which is saying something since I am all about HOT WILD SEX).
As a whole I really enjoyed this book and if you are looking for a fast paced HEA love story then you have found it! It will have you wishing for your very own Italian playboy!!!

3.5 FUN & SEXY STARS!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really liked this book. This is a yummy erotica story about a Prince from an Italian Island and a fashion designer.

Let Easton, the fashion designer, has grown up in the fast world. Her dad is an ex-Rockstar and her mom used to be a playmate. But even with those parents she's been kept from the spot light. She meets the prince when he tells her 1 week before fashion week that he will not provide her with the fabric she wanted, as he's the owner of the company. Being Lexington she hops on the first flight to Italy to demand them. When she gets there she surprises the prince by being a woman, a good looking woman at that,

They each share a mutual attraction but for different reasons they fight the obvious draw that theyou have for each other.

This definitely a scorcher. The erotica parts are SO GOOD!! The characters are great. But it's not a 5 star because there were parts that the speed just wasn't right. It was slow sometimes when it should gone fact and fast when should have gone slow. I would however definitely recommend this book to all of my friends

Sassy heroine~check
Hilarious friends~check
Hot hero~check
Awesome storyline~check
Hot sex~Double check!

So this book definitely hit all my boxes for a great read. The sex was hot but some of the scenes reminded me of porn and it's a little pricey but the story makes up for all that. I spent the whole book going from wanting to smack a couple of characters to laughing non-stop to having that warm happy feeling.

The story had some drama but not the kind that really turns you off of a book. The chemistry between the hero and heroine was explosive and I was really glad to see that they didn't go back and forth playing mind games like so many characters do. I fell in love with the heroine's friends immediately, if anything the banter between all of them makes the book worth reading.

If you don't mind the price I would recommend this book as a hot and fun read. This is a new author for me but I enjoyed this book and am excited for the next one.

Overall Rating:
Story: 5
Sex: 4

So, this book. LOVERGASMIC! That's not even my word! That's the Ch 18 title. I love that this book is full of fun little quips and word plays like that. I have highlights in every chapter. Lex is a riot in her own way. And Prince Masi...the things that come out of that man's mouth...woah. The Italians are known for their romantic language and he's certainly no exception.

Both Lexi and Masi are fighting the demons of their past, their family and of their place in the spotlight of fashion and media. They are so used to fighting that they fight what they feel for one another, for a while. I adore that it's not a "Nice to meet you, oh I love you" type cliche.

The supporting cast of this book are powerful, fun and I can tell will have their own type of heat between the pages soon. The Manhattanites went to school together, look out for each other and are a freaking riot!

Ok, so now what really made you click on the link to check out this book (maybe you're like me and saw the couple from The Proposition pictured on the front?? HA HA! Seriously? Masi is WAY hotter than Aiden Fitzgerald, but I digress!) this book is HAWT!!!!! To quote Lexi "HOLY VAJAYJAY!"

I mentioned the sweet things that come out of Masi's mouth...well, that's NOTHING compared to the sexy, naughty and demanding things that come out of his mouth. He's met his match too, because he has to do what he can to keep Lexi quiet during a few of their scenes!

This book has all of my checkboxes for a top read.

If you are looking for an extremely erotic contemporary romance that is a cross between "Sex in the City" and "The Devil Wears Prada" you will love Undressed by Avery Aster. Undressed is also the first in The Manhattanites series so we get to look forward to more in the same vein in the near future.

When you are the bankrupt daughter of a dead rock star and his former drug addicted Playboy Playmate wife you have to think outside the box when looking to make a living. Lexi Easton has managed to rise from the mess made by her parents to have a multi million dollar clothing company, now if she could just get the fabrics she is waiting for from Italy so her company can stay in the game.

Prince Massimo Tittoni is the crown prince of a little island nation that is part of Italy, he also inherited the families textile manufacturing company. When he decides to cut off shipment to Easton Essentials he ends up with the feisty, sexy Lex Easton interrupting his vacation, his life and his heart.

Undressed has humor, sexy Italian men and sex in just about every flavor possible. We are introduced to a fantastic cast of supporting characters and get a glimpse of their sex lives as well. I am sure that many of those supporting characters will get the chance to be the main event in future books in the series.

Hot fashions and even hotter sex. Alexandra “Lex” Easton has lusted after Prince Massimo Tittoni from afar even going so far as to nickname her vibrator Massi. Meeting him when they are at odds over a business deal doesn't seem to dull the effect he has on her libido. Maybe it’s because she hasn't gotten any in a while because she has been building her business, a business that will be destroyed if he stops supplying the fabric she needs for her collection. For his part the Prince is intrigued by the American. He finds her beautiful, intelligent, spirited, stubborn and sexy as hell even when she is fighting mad. These two will spark in a rainstorm but will those sparks ignite into something more? This is the first I've read by this author. I enjoyed the story a lot. The pacing was a little jagged but not bad enough to ruin the read. I am looking forward to reading Unscrupulous the next book in this series.

Boy oh boy was this book hot.
Massi is this sexy prince that you want to lick from head to toe, and parade in front of everyone you know.
He's a man that I found perceived as a jerk and selfish at first, but then you get to know the character and see that it's not the case.
And let's be honest here, every girl loves an accent on a guy. But I had no idea that it was just as hot if the accent was written.
Massi, you can call me bella anytime you want. (please do)

description

And Lex, girl, you made me laugh out loud, which is something not many books have done.

"You may call me Lex, not Bella. this isn't Twilight."

"Lex was many things, but a good dancer did not top her list. I can fist pump. I take Zumba. I have spirit fingers. I don't waltz to classical music."

description

This book was funny, romantic, and fun.
The only thing with this book is I felt like it was all a bit fast.
Sadly, not in a 'I never want this book to end' way, but more like ''These characters fell in love way to fast.'
I don't get why authors feel the need to rush it; Make it last. Make them work for their love a little.
Since it was so quick, I didn't have time to see how actually in love they were.

But other than that, this book was good.
Recommended to all that have a spare pair of panties.
