I found most of this book very awkward and kind of cringey. Their fighting was not fun in anyway and I think went too far. Ultimately I really did not want these two together. I was more interested in Molly's relationship than the main one. The subplot was kind of interesting, but the wrap up of it was poor and defeated the whole purpose in my opinion. Some things also weren't really wrapped up I found and overall this book was off.

Wow

Absolutely loved this book. Actually cried of laughter at times. Also felt her pain and fist pumped when she didn't automatically forgive him and fall back into bed with him. So many books have the FC forgiving so easily that it was nice to read a book where she took time for herself to actually think what she really wanted.

I found this very repetitive and a toxic relationship.
Jameson has many tantrums about how he just always gets his way, albeit he thought he was doing the right thing but I found it very condescending.
Emily, also - had her “bratty” tendencies but rather than Jameson being a “brat tamer” and enjoying the brattiness I found it causing more arguments than anything??

Also, Emily - for the entire length of the book said to herself to get self respect and then frankly, didn’t. She caved everytime for someone who was treating her poorly.

I also found the random fade to blacks hard to follow. Mid chapters it would just pick up somewhere new on a new page without any indication is was a fade to black?

Idk, fell flat for me.

Emily was on her way back home, after a trip to london from her friends wedding, when a drunk started causing problems and Emily's luggage thrown around, as an apology she gets upgraded to first class. This is where she meets Jameson, they started flirting and there was definitely chemistry, which lead to a very steamy night. He never asked for her number when he left, and she didn't no who he was until 1 year later when she turns up at her new job.

"I swear to you, from this moment on...you are my everything. Our new life together...starts right now"

Emily is just your normal person trying to get on with life the best she can, trying to be strong at times when you know she isn't, I definitely felt sorry for her at times. Jameson is everything in this book, his an asshole, controlling, possessive and argumentative, but he is also the most caring person, who puts those he loves before himself. When he loves its all or nothing.

"Being in love is like being on a deserted island,Jameson. You focus on them and only them, and you make everything else fit around that person."

This book had me feeling all sorts of this happy, sad, annoyed, and there was one point that I was laughing out loud, and it was steamy in places.

"thankyou" I whisper. Her eyes search mine. "What for?" "For finding me."
