This is a very quick read and could have been summarised in ten pages or so… However I give it some creds becuase somehow it persuaded me to try HIT.

A great book if you’re looking for science in relation to weight loss and health. I started the 5:2 a while ago but didn’t keep it up, but having now read the book I’m going to have another go.

Fast Exercise is Dr. Michael Mosley's follow-up to his successful book, Fast Diet about intermittent fasting. This book focuses on the latest trend in fitness - HIT, or High Intensity Training and gives you an easy to follow and understand program, while still delving into the science behind it in Mosley's usual accessible style.

I enjoyed it and will definitely incorporate elements of HIT into my routine. That said, I'm not sure that this book is as well-written as the previous book - I seemed as if perhaps they had rushed it out to capitalise on Mosley's success. Just a thought which kept it from being 5 stars for me.

Excellent book (as are all of MM’s books), I loved the scientific explanations in particular. This seems like a very do-able for anyone of any age, fitness, & level of busy-ness!

It may be too soon to give this a rating, let's see how I do once I put it into practice at get results! Nevertheless, this looks like a good exercise regime for me and I should hopefully be able to get some value from it.

This is a convincing book about why high intensity short workouts are better than low intensity long workouts. It's a short useful book, solidly researched and includes workouts.
