A delightful little book full of wonderful short chapters and quaint illustrations, offering quick, but powerful reminders on the power of mindfulness meditation.
I give it 3.5 stars not because it isn't helpful, but because I don't think its a great place to start for beginner's to the philosophy or practice. It's a supplemental book for those who'd like some pick me ups and/or inspiration when it comes to their own practice.
I recommend "Peace is Every Step" first; and this as a companion.

This simple, mini book has been somewhat life-changing for me. Hanh's writing helped me finally start to practice meditating, with short, profound insights on what sitting can be. I find Hanh's school of Buddhism warmer and more welcoming than what I have experienced of Zen. This little book has led to a lot of deepening in my life, and to other books and podcasts -- more Hanh, Jack Kornfield, Dan Harris. If you're at all interested in meditation, I commend it to you. I open it often and reread a page here and there.

A nice little book to have on hand. Once read through it makes a nice reference book. Full of calming nuggets of wisdom about sitting meditation. I enjoyed it.
