This book was recommend to me by a someone who usually gives amazing recommendations, so I gave it a chance despite my reservations.

Good for the author for achieving his goals, but this was the most pretentious book I’ve ever read. These are things most people already know and there’s no miracle motivation to do any of these things.

Here’s the essence of the book if you want a to do list:

1. Set intentions before bed to wake up with positivity
2. Move your alarm clock across the room
3. Brush your teeth and wash your face first thing
4. Drink a full glass of water to get hydrated
5. Get dressed or jump in the shower
Bonus:
6. Set bedtime affirmations
7. Set timer for bedroom lights to come on in am
8. Set timer for bedroom temperature in the am

The 6 minute routine:
MIN 1: wake up with a smile and sit in purposeful and mindful silence
MIN 2: look at your daily affirmations set the night before
MIN 3: Visualize your day
MIN 4: Practice gratitude
MIN 5: Grab your self-help book and practice one thing each day
MIN 6: move your body for 60 seconds

Just go to Pinterest and someone will have this book in a list format. It’ll be cheaper too.

¡Wow!

Te invito firmemente a leerlo. Te invito firmemente a construir tu mañana milagrosa.

Read this via audiobook and just found the narration over the top and thus had to stop.  It was clearly a tool to sell the author as a key note speaker which again grated on me.   That said the author has clearly battled a lot and worked hard to come out of the other side.  For that I salute him.

The author encourages the reader that the best thing they can do to enhance their life is to enhance their morning. This can be done by waking up early, drinking a glass of water, journaling what you are thankful for, visualizing your day, stating power statements, reading, spending time on self-improvement, and exercising.

I liked the encouragement and want to start waking up earlier to engage in these life giving things. As with many self-help books, this book had a few great nuggets and a lot of fluff. He promoted the book and the content “found within” so much. He also said some sketchy things like when he said that you need less sleep than you think and you’re only tired because you think you are tired.

Ugh.

This 'book' could have been a 3 page document.

Hal, STOP TRYING TO SELL ME ON YOUR MIRACLE MORNING. I ALREADY PURCHASED THE BOOK. I'M RIGHT THERE WITH YOU.

The idea works though, I'd had several productive mornings. I'm also much more calm (as you can clearly see in this review).

Good for prompting productvity

I've already been making changes. I hate cringe self help books but this one touches on some nice points. Recommend.
