The Symphony of Stars by Barbara Kloss was a wonderfully thrilling conclusion to the series. If you love a well thought out fantasy with that little hint of romance that adds to plot instead of taking away I highly recommend. Kloss did a wonderful job of weaving the stories of all the wonderful characters in the book. Every character got the necessary amount of attention and each had their stories come full circle which was great to see. Jeric and Imari were wonderful as always and the connection between them in this book was lovely, they also each had more growth in their characters which was great. The book was well paced and kept me engaged throughout, and some characters that seemed more as support characters started to take more shape and develop more fully which I love to see. There were some sad moments but there were also parts that made me chuckle {especially Braddock.} This epic crescendo in the trilogy will resonate for a while. I was very pleased with the ending, and I am now a little sad that it’s over. I’ve been with the series since the beginning and have had to wait for each book, and they were always worth the wait.

Solid conclusion to the series. It felt like it moved a little slowly in places but once it built, the story really took off. Enjoyed the characters and their stories did end on a high note.

This was an amazing ending to the trilogy, especially the last 20% of the book. I loved the good vs evil aspect of this story. I don’t think I have ever seen a spiritual aspect to the magic in fantasy books before now. Imari’s magic song being connected so strongly to the Makers (basically God by a different name) was amazingly written. And I loved the soft way he spoke to her to let her know he was with her while she changed the world for the better with the gifts he gave her from birth.
This book had an amazing cast of characters with robust personalities that you couldn’t help but love and root for. And the character growth for many of the characters were well written and very heartwarming.
I will admit the book dragged a little in the middle but it got better. Stick with it, the ending was worth it.

A phenomenal finish wrapping up an incredible trilogy. Sometimes as you are finishing up a series you wonder what it built to... not this one. I was nervous down until the very end. I fell in love with the entire cast of characters. Their growth and relationships. I would love to see more in this world!
