Samin is such a lovely soul. She gives great resources to cook with or without a recipe. The customization and attention to detail make this a real winner.

4 is as high as I'll go for a recipe book with meat recipes. Filled to the brim with knowledge of food history and cooking and baking, this book has every right to be influential. I just hope that Nosrat is going to offer a more vegan-friendly follow-up some time soon!

I’m marking this as read because i want it out of my storygraph haha - I haven’t read every page yet but I will!! I enjoy reading it during lulls while cooking. I’ve learned a lot so far! A great book.

Very interesting. The writing is so visceral is makes the reader think they too could easily be a gourmet cook.
