Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

A good story, but this story isn't about a violent romance between Catherine and Heathcliff, this is about Heathcliff's obsession with Catherine and how much of a bee-yotch she is. She led him on and ruined the lives of the generation afterwards: her daughter and her nephews. Heathcliff is one messed up dude.

I really enjoyed this book.

Yeah, it could use a little work, as many other reviewers have pointed out, but the book was beautiful. It captured the emotions, especially the heartache, of both Lena AND Ethan, and it really surprised me. I loved the town of Gatlin and the different characters, and (no spoilers intended) Mrs. Lincoln made a LOT of sense towards the end.

I loved Lena's homecoming and the Disciplinary Committee. I liked Ethan's moments with Amma and Marian. Ridley was pretty cool, too.

Overall, I think the Garcia and Stohl did a darn good job with this book, and I cannot wait to read Beautiful Darkness.

Just like almost every other reviewer on here, I originally read this story on Wattpad.com and was extremely excited to read the new and improved published version. I am glad to say I was not disappointed.

This version is so much better! I fell in love with Annaton all over again. Their interactions felt genuine, and the tension was stellar. The snippets into Anna's time with Carter were terrifying; I only wish she could have more good memories with Jack, but it is understandable why she didn't.

There were a few typos throughout the story, but they didn't distract me too much.

I cannot wait to read Enjoying The Chase! Good job, Kirsty!

SPOILER ALERT!

If I were to right my true opinion of this book, it would literally take all day to write, so I'll give y'all the abridged version:

I loved Ren. He was sweet, kind, thoughtful, and gorgeous. Who doesn't love a hot guy?! He seems to have no flaws, except for the fact that he can't make a decent American sandwich, but you can only blame that on lack of experience.

I loved Kishan. Even though we don't get to read much about the younger, darker brother, his flirtatious, roguish ways would make any girl fall for him.

I loved Mr. Kadam. He was like a wise grandfather without all the wrinkles and whole lotta cash. A smart guy with lots of resources is necessary for a book like this.

Now into the rant: I wanted to kill Kelsey. She's smart, and clearly wise beyond her years. I understand that she wanted to give her tigers a chance to see and experience the real world for themselves. Being stuck as a tiger for 350 years doesn't give you a chance to truly recognize the world around you. However, just because the book was made a few years ago doesn't mean no word was ever made.

What word am I talking about? I'm talking about YOLO! You only live once, stupid girl! You can still introduce the world to the tigers while being an a relationship with one of them! And if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. The least you can do is give it a chance!

I've read this book before, but now that I have all four books, I want to re-read them one more time so that I can have everything in my head for the final book, which I have not read yet. On to Tiger's Quest!

A Godsend. Literally, the most useful How To for writing that I have ever read. Relatable to the 21st century generation of writers. What more could you ask for?

There was so much emotional turmoil!

I felt so sad for Lena because losing a family member is hard. I understand the reason she was drawing away from Ethan, given the circumstances, but at times I wanted to choke her. She seemed very ungrateful, in my opinion. And freaking JOHN.

John was strange. I wasn't sure if I should hate him or sympathize with him. Maybe we'll find out more...?

Ethan, dear lovable Ethan, pulled at my heartstrings. He loves Lena so much and is willing to do anything and everything for her, but she kept pushing him away. The appearance of Liv didn't help much.

Liv was super cool. British, blonde, and smart, her role was perfectly filled. I like her character and I can't wait to see more of her.

And last, but certainly not least, Link. I love his snappy comebacks and his god-awful rock band. His obsession with Ridley is sad but sweet. And that twist at the end! How's Link gonna cope with this?!?!

All in all I really like this story, even if I sometimes wanted to throw my Nook across the room because of Lena. (Grr.) I honestly can't wait to read Beautiful Chaos. :)

I just wanna start out by saying that this volume is sooo much better than the first. We move on from the honeymoon phase of the love affair between Morgan and Cal and get to the juicier stuff.

I don't wanna give too many spoilers for potential readers, but realizing the part Cal played in this surprised me. I liked his character, but I knew that something wasn't quite right with his mama. She looked kinda shady to be honest. But Cal!! Why?! And that ending on Spellbound! The feels!

Hunter grew on me. He always seemed cold and hard but I enjoy seeing another side of him. The mystery with his parents isn't a major theme in this book, but it's definitely important.

Morgan finally grew a pair of ovaries and started thinking and feeling on her own. Even though other characters said she was strong and powerful, in my opinion she wasn't. Yes, her magick is oh-so powerful, but she never seemed to stand on her own, always running toward Cal. I like seeing her independence and I can't wait to see her grow magickally, emotionally, and spiritually.

My only complaint is that I wish I could have seen more of the coven and Morgan's non-witch friends. That's all.

I am definitely reading Volume 3. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I've never seen the movie before, but I am not sure I want to. The story was beautiful. It wasn't a typical boy meets girl novel; instead Sparks places the reader right in the middle of the action, which was very different and refreshing.

Noah and Allie pulled at my heartstrings simply because they were so in love. The struggles that they endured while they were apart, the anticipation of meeting each other, and most especially their final meeting at the end . . . I was honestly close to tears by the time I closed the book.

This will most likely be something I'm rereading in the future.

What. The. Hell?!

It can't just end like that! There has to be more! I have to know more! The freakin' emotional cliffhanger!

I can't even . . .
